Economic development, increased pollution

In here, the pigs is brought into the cage to have a bath. Wastewater is discharged directly into the ditch beside the rice fields. Waste, wastewater daily which people here have to burden are proportional to the amount of goods they imported and sold. When it is sunny, stench rises dramatically from the ditch. When it is raining, the waste foam and "traveled" everywhere.
A resident living near Gung bridge said: “We live about kilometer from it but still fell smelly, although river in this season is better than dry season".
This market has formed since 2002, then it involved a variety of services such as: bath for pig, wash car, restaurant... despite of the smelly odor.
Mr. Tran Xuan Vuong - Chairman of Annoi commune said: “The market pig in village No.5 is real, and the status of disorderly traffic as well as environmental pollution are the problem of the local authorities...”.
According to Mr.Trinh Van Tuyen - Chairman ò Annoi commune, Binhluc District, the market pig works from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. It imports and exports thousands of pigs on the day... This is the clue provide material for slaughterhouse in many provinces such as: Hanoi, Haiphong, Thaibinh, Ninhbinh... This is also big pig transit market in the North. But it is not managed so the sanitation, security, and traffic safety is still the problems in here.
When will the environmental pollution end?
To manage and exploit the market pig effectively, since 2009, the local authorities has submitted plants to Binhluc People's Committess and comptent authorities to apply for building the market. On 4/8/2001, Annoi People's Committess has submitted the application No.28 for opening Annoi commune whosale market trading in cattle and poultry.
The trading takes place daily caused traffic jams and environmental pollution, disorderly social security in Annoi commune. To the garthering of cattle and poultry are fast and convenient, ensure hygienic environment, traffic safety on the road DH01, Annoi People's Committess applied for building whosale market trading in cattle and poultry in the land No.4 - 5 of map No.30 with a total area of 5000m2…
However, according to the local leaders here, after many edits to 10.000m2 expand market to have a palce for the processing environment and parking in the market, so it is still wating for aprroval...
