Strong earthquake shook Tokyo

According to the AFP, a strong earthquake occurred morning 1/1/2012 shook Tokyo city of Japan.

AFP quoted the Japan Meteorological Agency said the 7.0 degree earthquake shook Tokyo and surrounding areas right on New Year's Day.
 
The quake occurred at 14:28 am local time (0528 GMT), the agency said, adding that there is no danger of tsunami.

The epicenter of the earthquake near Torishima, an island in the south of Tokyo about 560km, and at a depth of about 370 km.
 
The earthquake in the early afternoon shaked buildings in the capital, but not interrupt the final Emperor Cup soccer taking place in the national stadium.
