This is the propose of Ha Nam and Ninh Binh Road Safety Committee in the continuation of the project against drinking wine, beer and drive sponsored by Bloomberg Fund at the review conference on prevention projects drinking beer and driving.

Attending the seminar were representatives of the National Traffic Safety Committee, Department of Traffic Safety, Ministry of Transportation, Traffic Police Department, representive of the World Health Organization in Vietnam, the Association of Global Safety and representatives of ministries, departments and agencies. The project was implemented in 02 localities from the beginning in 2010, to present the traffic safety of the province has organized training courses to improve enforcement operations for the traffic police force, our pilot, businesses transport in the area. The project is also equipped with technical equipment to enhance the control, prevention and control means the use of alcohol.

According to Mr. Than Van Thanh, Chief of the National Committee for Traffic Safety, through 02 years of the pilot to control alcohol in the province, people's consciousness has been raised, accidents related to alcohol in the area has decreased, particularly police traffic enforcement participation has handled more professional impact to change the consciousness of the road.

National Traffic Safety Committee will consider and propose Bloomberg Fund continues to implement the project and may expand the area according to local propose.
