Philippines officials said at least 25 people were killed and 100 others were missing in the country's south after a landslide occurred in a living area of the gold mining.
Benito Ramos, head of civil defense agency, told AFP that landslides affecting a remote mountain community near Pantukan town on Mindanao island, and a military unit are digging the house to find buried bodies.

Spokesperson of Philippines National Police, Mr. Agrimero Cruz Jr. said the landslide occurred at about 4 am in a rural area for gold at two Diat 1 and Diat 2 in the village of Napnapan, Pantukan town. According Agrimero, some tents collapsed that killed 25 people in two villages on.
"Operation Rescue and the search is ongoing in this area, where local officials have said that over 100 people still missing," he said Agrimero.
