The project to plant cucumbers under VietGAP standards is invested by the Center for Support farmers and rural areas (Central Vietnam Farmers Association) with 13 ha of scale, of which Chan LY commune (Ly Nhan) has 06 ha; Le Ho commune (Kim Bang) has 07 ha.

Mr. Nguyen Van Chu, Tram Khe Village, Chan Ly commune, has experienced growing cucumbers from the subsidy. This year, although not directly planted melons and pumpkins, he visited the field. This year, the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Van, Vu Dien village, Chan Ly commune grew 01 nest of cucumbers under VietGAP standard. She has obtained 600kg cucumbers, estimated time remaining could obtained more than 300kg. With the prices for processing workshop is 6,000 VND / kg, 01 nest cucumbers for income nearly 06 millions.

Ms. Van said: "Complying VietGAP require growers to be careful in the process fertilizing, spraying, field visits and detect disease. It had the same time to fertilize, but planted in VietGAP, I feel better because of not necessarily by exposure to chemical pesticides ...".
