France experienced the hottest year over the past century

Newspapers in France on 27/12 said that 2011 was the hottest year in France since the early 20th century, with average temperatures was higher than normal levels 1.5 degrees.

According to data from the National Meteorological Agency France (Meteo France), France's average temperature this year is 13.6 degrees Celsius, 0.2 degrees C warmer than the hottest year earlier (2003).
