During March 23rd and 25th 2009, there was a training course on Environment Rapid Appraisal (ERA) in Thanh Tuyen PC, conducted by Dr. Prof. Nguyen Dinh Hoe, Lecturere of Hanoi National University. There were 35 participants from Hanam and Thanh Liem DONRE, officers from Thanh Ha, Thanh Tuyen, Liem Tuyen communes and CEDO staffs.

 The training provides essential knowledge on environment and development; common issues for peri-urban areas and possible sollutions; State policies on environmental protection; role of community in environment protection and introduce some forms and methods of Environment Raid Appraisal.

This training course contributes in raising awareness for participants from Hanam and Thanh Liem DONRE, commune officers; These are the close and active communicators in the environment communication network for Thanh Liem district.
The training last two days. This is within the training plan for capacity building in 2009 conducted by CEDO Hanam.
