During development process, poor women are easily vulnerable. The poor – especially poor women are our major target groups. Each poor woman is in a typical situation, one commune feature is sanitation condition is not good.

For effective and proper support to poor women, CEDO conducted village meeting with the poorest HHs and discuss with local PC and unions for supporting models. For old poor women who are too weak to work, CEDO supported water tanks, well & filter, latrines to improve environmental conditions. Those women who need to generate income, CEDO support them to set up interest groups, provide training courses like embroidery, IPM, experience sharing among local HHs on economic development, provide them information on cultivation and husbandry.

With the hope to achieve good result from HH economic models, the poor women can integrate into society, get a better life and contribute their part into local environment protection and economic development. It is really a sustainable method.
