During 12th and 13th Mar, 2010, CEDO conducted a consultation workshop in Halong for all stakeholders to discuss its strategy plan for period of 2010-2012. There are 45 participants from various organizations and unions and beneficiaries of Hanam and Thai Nguyen attend the workshop.

After visiting to Ha Long waste processing plant, a quick meeting was held for a rapid evaluation on the new waste treatment model. Most of participants agreed that the district level plant should be simpler and smaller, suitable with the volume of its daily waste.
The work plan for 2 years was discussed actively, all objectives have been clarified and detailed into specific activities that can be applied into target areas in 2 districts: Thanh Liem (Hanam) and Phu Luong (Thai Nguyen)
